Hyperion Focke-Wulf 190 D9 "Dora"
The fuselage is fiberglass and the motor cowl is an integral part of the fuse. Despite it's physical volume (which is a LOT bigger than our other 25e class warbirds) the fuse is light weight. The battery hatch is generous in size and provides unrestricted access to the internals. The wing can of course stay installed when exchanging the battery pack, just like on all the Hyperion warbirds today. The Focke-Wulf is upgraded to include phenolic surface horns just like on our 3D models giving the model a clean and scale look when viewed from the top. The horns are light and precise. The wing is a traditional wood structure with painted covering to match the fuselage. When flying, this FW-190 sits just right in the air, with the typical hanging nose and it's long fuselage. The exhausts stacks we have included beefs up the look and with just a dab of paint here and there for weathering your FW-190 will look just the part. Painted alu scale spinner included. |
